7-Day Silent Retreat

What if the most radical thing you could do… is say nothing for a week? Out of your comfort zone lives silence.

A rare, intimate gathering where being alone becomes something you share.

Just you, nature and a carefully held group choosing to go deep together; a shared act of transformation.

Arriving into Silence

On Sunday evening, we begin with a soft and spacious introduction to help you transition from daily life into silence. You’re invited to slow down, arrive in your body, and sense your intention for the week ahead. Together, we gently step into a different rhythm — one that allows silence to settle like a protective cloak around body, mind, and heart.

Living in Silence

Throughout the week, participants live in complete silence, supported by the calm and grounding atmosphere of Farfalla Viola. The days unfold in a simple, steady rhythm that includes yoga, meditation, time in nature, and unstructured moments to simply be.
Silence here isn’t rigid or isolating — it’s held collectively, creating safety, softness, and depth. Over time, the absence of noise allows attention to turn inward and space opens for clarity, rest, and inner movement.

Nature & the Land

Farfalla Viola is set on 3 acres of forested land, offering space to wander, breathe, and reconnect with the natural world. You’ll move among fruit trees, herbs, wild mint, and open paths that invite slow walks and quiet presence. Nature becomes a steady companion throughout the week, supporting grounding, reflection, and a sense of belonging.

Rhythm of the Days

Each day follows a gentle and supportive structure. Practices are simple and spacious, allowing your own rhythm to lead. Time is intentionally left open so silence can do its work — whether through rest, walking, sitting, or simply being. There is no pressure to achieve anything; the invitation is to listen and allow.

Closing the Silence

On Saturday morning, we slowly and consciously begin to break the silence. Participants are invited to share reflections and experiences from the week, if they wish.
From Saturday evening into Sunday morning, we move into a gentle closing phase, creating space to integrate what has been touched and to explore how these insights can be carried back into daily life. The retreat concludes with a shared sense of connection — to oneself, to nature, and to one another.

Integration & Returning Home

As the silence comes to a close, we gently shift toward integration. Together, we reflect on what has surfaced and how to carry these insights into daily life in a realistic, grounded way.
Participants often leave with more clarity, softness, and trust in their own rhythm — something that continues to live quietly underneath everyday life.

A Shorter Option

If a full week of silence feels like too much at this moment, you’re welcome to join the Silence Weekend in April, a shorter version that offers a taste of the experience.

The silence was new for me and it really opened me up to nature. It’s incredible how much different forms of communication are possible with nature.
